The Unspeakable Now

Speak of the unspeakable subject now to avoid the place un-redeemable then.

Many Christian leaders nowadays have softened the way they preach and teach from the Bible. Many have resorted to find sound, ear-candy kind of messages; preaching what itching ears want to hear rather than what people need to hear.

The Lord revealed to me years ago that the state of a lost soul can be likened to one drowning in a pool; one moment they may be there and another they’re gone. This aligns with the scripture of God describing human life as but a mist that appears for a while and quickly disappears.

The person that is drowning, in trouble, on their way to destruction and damnation does need to know of God being the God of love and grace but that has to be balanced with knowing He is also the God of truth and justice. On one hand He promises eternal life to all those who will snatch the rope from drowning in sin and on the other He promises a place of eternal suffering, where death and destruction momentary status evolve into eternity.

An insurer asks us to be insured against risk. A doctor may say ‘prevention is better than cure.’ I say REPENT, for the end is near!!! That end maybe life as we know it but it could jolly we be us that are called next.

The Cure for H.I.V.

Scenario:

Imagine if you or someone you loved was diagnosed with H.I.V. One can imagine that this could be the worst news that most people would ever want to hear. However, I also want you to imagine that there was a cure for H.I.V but it was very expensive. Let’s say the cost was 2 million dollars. Would you be willing to pay for the cure or invest in it for your loved one? Most people I know would.

Lesson:
One of the worst diseases in this world is sin. It is the root cause of sickness, disease, pain, depression, death and so much more. So many people there be that suffer from this eternally catastrophic disease yet none seem excited for the cure of Jesus Christ. We seem to be more swayed by the fruits of sin than sin itself. This is not a surprise or mere coincidence.

The devil has deceived us into accepting sinful lifestyles as we slay the voice of our conscience and the Holy Spirit. This then allows us to feel free and at peace in sin but in the end it’s the greatest deception of all. Let us not wait for calamity when the wages of sin comes to fruition when we then come to our senses. I urge us all to mediate upon the disease of sin and appropriate the cure of Jesus Christ.

The Key to Endless Victory

When Jesus’ work was finished, it was a truly finished work. He covered all the bases and your eternal victory was one of them. When we become Christians, the battle seems not gets a lot harder. Our enemy along with our flesh, tempts us and yearns for things that we have become dead to even wanting or desiring. The key to maintaining victory is in one place, the mind.

This is the battlefield where many future leaders will be established and where many potential world changers will fail and be utterly destroyed. The mind, the place where thoughts are seeds implanted seemingly harmlessly, but grows to become some of the biggest trees. The mind, the factory where sins are produced and the home where righteous men are triumphant. The mind, the place where God and the devil seek supremacy amongst men.

What thoughts do you allow to enter into your mind?
Which ones to you ignore and which ones do you meditate upon?

Proverbs 23:7 – For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.

“He who who says he can and he who says he can’t are both usually right” – Confucius.

I encourage you to pray this simple prayer Today and gain endless victory over your mind:

Prayer:
LORD JESUS, I take captive of every thought to make it obedient to You. I decree that I have the mind of Christ which is life and peace and it will forever be stayed upon You. I cover my body, mind and spirit under Your Blood now and forevermore, in Jesus’ Name. AMEN!!!!

Love: Rejoices in the Truth

Scripture Reading

1 Corinthians 13:6
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

This verse seems so simple and straightforward but it is more astonishing how the lines between evil, good and the truth have become blurred today. In times past people had twisted the truth of the Bible to appease worldwide atrocities, while some have rather twisted it to suit certain sinful vices and lifestyles. We have selected sins we ourselves condemn as evil and in the same breath commit other sins that we or society accepts as the norm.

Debauchery, lying, swearing, fornication, idolatry are some sins that are widely accepted and sad to say, rejoiced over in certain most circumstances, whilst, adultery, homosexuality, witchcraft and other sins are mostly condemned. What 1 Corinthians 13:6 says, is that love calls a spade a spade. If its wrong, it’s wrong. Love rejoices in the Truth, in holiness, in righteousness and rejects evil.

It is even more abominable that people have reached the point where they have seared their consciences and are not only able to accept evil as good, but gained the ability rejoice in it. This is one of the most dangerous place to be. Alarms, warn us of impending or present danger, this is the role of our conscience. When it is seared, it means that it ceases to function. Thus, after a while, sin not only feels normal after a while but good, while it’s wages (which is death) is looming, yet there is no such warning signal that reaches us.

1 Thessalonians 5:3
While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
