Question of Great Importance

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?
Matthew 16:26

Is it one more party? One more carnival season?

Is it worth one more day for immoral sex?

What is worth the risk of losing heaven for the purpose of gaining hell?

Is sin so great, so fulfilling and so good that you choose to risk today for a possible eternal suffering and sorrow tomorrow?

Is there a dollar value that will make hell worth the remorse and extremities that you will have to endure?

What has sin offered you that God, Himself couldn’t give you along with His promise of Heaven?

Is there a person, event, place or thing worth the value of your soul and the unbearable weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth?

The laws of life and probability dictate that each of us will all live our last day on earth.

Today, is the last day for at least 150,000 people world-wide.

Is it that you’re hoping that just before you die you’ll have the opportunity to give your life to the Lord.

Is that a risk that you are surely willing to take?

The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions.

In other words, there are a lot of people in hell now that intended to give God their lives but, it was cut short before they could.

Risk not an eternity of suffering, for sin that was never fulfilling.

Rather, use plain logic and understand that serving Jesus is not only the most beneficial to life on earth, but also, eternity.

Competing Powers

In a world built on the need to be the best, the first, to be seen, to be known, to be liked and to be followed; the war of competing powers is one never to be engaged in, but simply ignored.

This ‘driven’ world is built on man-made, human-defined success that proves false, lacking and short-lived. As we assess the lives of the rich and the famous, we easily realize how much so many of them fail on even coming even close to achieving peace, security, deep-rooted happiness, lasting joy and true success.

Rather, we hear of sex scandals, DUI’s, drug-abuse, suicides, questionable deaths along with their being plagued by paparazzis, who withhold our basic desire for privacy. Yet, so many people rush in for the deception of wealth and fame, not knowing the ask that it requires is one that very few are truly willing to pay.

The most unfortunate thing is for the one’s who have paid the ultimate price and sacrificed what was necessary to get what they so needed from life and still find themselves wanting.

Man has no greater need for God, yet what he wants and hungers for is disguised in the glitter of this world. The sooner we realized this, the sooner we can resign from competing for attention, and recognize that we always had His attention.

He was always there. The God of the farthest galaxies and widest expanses is indelibly, indefinitely, passionately, unconditionally in love with you and that’s all that matters. No need to vie for the world when God the Creator of All desires to not only care for you but wants for to be with Him in Heaven.

Submit to Him today and allow His love to transform your life.

Love Rejected

He calls for a girl who he craved for from day one,
If she even gave him a smile he would climb the moon, and defeat the sun.
He saw her beauty before the world raised their spotlight.
If she was hurt her enemies would see one supremely hostile.
His eyes paved paths and made her crooked ways straight,
Before she could utter a word her desires were already made.
He spoiled and swooned her with gifts fit for a queen,
But, this love met its bitter end when world beckoned and screamed.

She then rejected his calls and blocked him at every place,
He searched deep within to find out if he had made a mistake.
She found new friends, desires and all sorts,
He knew he did all he could and like a gentleman showed no force.
She adapted new speech, behaviors, beliefs,
He reacted by seasonally reaching out but his love was out of reach.
She soon forgot all about him, he became a fleeting thought,
Even though he had unlimited power her love could not be bought.

She married a man great in stature with fame, he stood a king,
Yet, she felt like life was never about her when she spent time with him.
She did receive the rarest gifts and all she could every ask,
Yet, sometimes when he grew angry she would be the recipient of his wrath.
She felt powerless to escape and rested in her tears,
Yet, somehow her mind pondered of her first love as she peeled back the years.
She remembered he made a promise that he is only one call away,
And with that small call a mighty army descended as all her enemies lay slayed.

From that day to now she has made him the apple of her eye,
He is her King, her First Love, the one who doesn’t know how to lie.
Love rejected is the most suicidal way to live,
She learned it is better to stick to with His unfailing love – that the devil can never give.
A person today living without Jesus as the Savior of their life,
Is like a person wishing time would stop as a next second goes by.
Death is not a question of IF but the wonder of  WHEN;
For some, sin is too fun to give up for Holiness and Heaven.

Love Manifested in Power

Perhaps one of the greatest dilemmas in this world Today, are words professed in the absence of actions or evidence. When someone professes their love for you, it should normally be experienced more within their actions, than in their words, right? What is love in word that fails in deed? What is a god that is lacking in power?

One of the main reasons why I know Jesus Christ is real and worth serving and dying for is His love, manifested in power. Every truth and promise in His Word (the Bible) is backed by one immutable and irrefutable truth, “It is impossible for God to lie” Hebrews 6:18. Isn’t it the same Bible that says, ‘With God, anything is possible?’ Yet, it clearly states that God is restricted within His nature of God of Truth and Holiness from lying, and not delivering on His word.

Personally, I have had the honor of seeing His love manifested in power too many times in my life to ever doubt, but even greater than this, I have been used so many times to administer the love of God, manifested in salvation, healing and deliverance for others which makes the words of the Bible take on life and real significance.

My prayer is that we all give Jesus the opportunity to reveal His love for us in a powerful way as well. Your life would forever be changed for the best.

GOD can use ME

God could use a Rock

Numbers 20:7-8
The Lord said to Moses,“Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.

God could use a Worm

Jonah 4:7
But God also arranged for a worm! The next morning at dawn the worm ate through the stem of the plant so that it withered away.

God could use a Fish

Matthew 24:27
“But so that we may not cause offense, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.

34 Years of Life on this Planet

So today marks 34 years that I have been on this earth. That is almost 3 decades and a half. So far it has been an amazing life, filled with epic experiences with friends, family and especially with Jesus. I have always been very passionate. If it’s about being in sin – in the world, I did it big. I started partying from the age 12 in second form at JC. The amounts of parties, girlfriends and escapades are too much to name count or remember. When I gave my life to Jesus, I became utterly passionate for Him like non other. From preaching as student during JC assemblies, to preaching on buses, trains (in Chicago while at college) and in Half-Way-Tree. In terms of souls that I had the honor of leading to the Lord, the figure is nearing 1,000 praise be to God; but in terms of those that I maybe led away from the Lord – that jolly well maybe in the thousands. Jesus said if you’re not with Him, you’re against Him; if you’re not gathering, you’re scattering. I have imagined how much souls became interested in parties because of websites that I worked at, that prompted them inclusive of my currently owned, FunInJamaica. It breaks my heart continuously, but on a more positive note; disappointment is now the fuel for motivation to execute my God-given purpose of Evangelist to Jamaica and the ends of the earth. It is my every desire and intention to live, suffer and die for the sake of this Gospel of Jesus Christ. So yes, I am now truly stepping into the full-time ministry of which I am called to be an Evangelist and Prophet. If I never see you, know that I have and will continue to intercede for you in the midnight hour.

Additionally, if you wish to know which side is better, sin or holiness, God or the devil; take it from me. I could have easily been rich should I have continued in sin; then I would be poor in Christ. I gave it all up for Him and got so much more than all the riches of the world could ever buy. Place your trust in Him without reservation; if you fall then fall deeper in love with Him without hesitation.
