Prayer for Jamaica – Land We Love!!!

May God Almighty the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah arise in Jamaica, Land We Love. Contend with those that contend with Us. Destroy the work of evil upon this nation. Scatter those that have aligned themselves in service of Lucifer. Give Us the neck of all that are bent on destroying the lives of Your people. Send confusion, calamity and great catastrophe within Our enemies’ camps. Strike them with terror that their joints fail for lack of strength. Send Your destroying angel and rid this land of all evildoers in the Freemasonry and Illuminati. Reveal your Power & Glory in this nation.

Demolish all ancestral strongholds, bondages and curses. Rid this land of the sins of our forefathers passing down from generations. Rid this nation from the powers that seek to exalt themselves against You and Your people. Breakthrough in the land of the living in supernatural form. Cause the hearts of the wicked to be stopped in their wake, in their uprising, in their conversations, in their meeting places, in their dark rooms, in their secret places, when they lay their heads.

This nation has been held in bondage long enough by the hands of a few. By the hands of few, the hearts of many have grown weak. The Bride of Christ itself has been affected by compromise as they have also sought to cripple Her. Mighty God, establish Your Authority, Reign and Rulership in this land. Let no man stand who have sworn an allegiance to idols and foreign gods. Let no man remain in power who refuses to confess their sins before You, and those that they have destroyed. Have mercy upon those that seek You for mercy and forgiveness at this time but let those that are refuse to bow to your rule and reign with their lives be utterly destroyed as You dealt with Babylon. We ask that You execute Justice, Authority and Your Righteous Indignation in Jamaica. Let not one stone be unturned. Let not one soul be excused.

Let God Arise and Let His Enemies Be Scattered! We bind every power of witchcraft, idolatry, lust, greed, immorality, corruption, murder, deception, violence, fear and rebellion upon and within this Nation. We loose the armies of the heavenlies to wage war continually upon this nation for as much persons that read in agreement with this prayer. Let Your Presence; Your Anointing O Jesus fall upon this nation. Let it permeate and saturate every heart in this land, even down to the very soil itself. For every man of integrity in this land, let their strength be tripled. For every praying person, let their households be saved and families endowed with warrior angelic protection.

Let every intercessor, prayer warrior, man, woman and child that have ever prayed for this nation Be Blessed specially, even now. Draw backsliders back to Your heart but Deliver Us From Evil once and for all Precious Jesus. We have sought You O Lord and will not stop even if death is our portion, by Your Grace we will not give in and we will not bow. Arm Yourself Jehovah Gibbor!!! Ready Your Weapons!!! Let Loose Your Mighty Angels!!! Deliver Jamaica, Land We Love from Evil for Thine is the Kingdom; the Power & the Glory, in Jesus’s Name Forever and Ever. Amen!!!

Manifested Love

Love cannot be proven in word but manifested in deeds,
Perfect love casts out all fear, we are now free and free indeed.
The love we are called to freely give is from the love we have freely received,
If we love Him let’s obey Him – seek the lost and save the weak.

The harvest is ready but He said the workers are also few,
The world is so busy working while the Church seems out of view.
We have gotten so busy doing church things, whilst evangelism is refused.
We are like spiritually obese Christians filled with all ‘word’ and never being used.

How can we have Christ within but never seek or save the lost?
How can we go to Church every weekend, but still struggle with the lust?
How can we have God who is love yet reaching out to sinners bring disgust?
How can a whole year can pass and we haven’t told one person of Jesus, His love and death on a cross for us?

Are we truly saved? Are we certain? Are we sure?
Maybe we should be ministering to each other and start to witness to our core.
Love accompanied with no action is only deception laid in store,
Many are called yet the chosen few, it’s the obedient that God looks for.

So I urge you my brother, my sister my friend,
Awaken from your slumber and be a witness of God’s love to the world’s end.
Let His love drive you to fulfilling your purpose and leading as much to heaven,
Seek every opportunity to show forth His love everyday, week, hour and second.

The life you save today maybe the one who saves a thousand tomorrow,
The life you ignore on the bus today may suffer for eternity in sorrow.
It is for this reason I implore you to move like your next minute is borrowed,
Leave nothing for later but do all that you can this very hour.

My Brother’s Keeper

“Perhaps it would have been better if you had kept this truth and life to yourself. Why do you insist on sharing this Gospel of Jesus Christ when we have no interest in hearing it? Religion is just man’s way of getting us to conform. It is a lie from our forefathers and a deception. Why preach, why share, why post, why outreach?”

The truth is there are many of us that have become the ‘silently saved.’ We have given our lives to the Lord and are afraid to tell others of His love, His life and power, for sake of ridicule or embarrassment. Yet, we are commanded to do just that. In fact, the very God we serve was ridiculed, chastised and slaughtered even, so each of us can experience the liberty and authority we have today.

Yet, many have become imprisoned by fear; be it fear of failure or that which stems from pride – we then cower and hide the light of Christ under a bowl (Mark 4:21), selfishly keeping the gospel to ourselves like a policeman that is witness to a crime and does nothing but walks away. Ezekiel 33, gives a warning to us to warn our brothers and sisters from continuing to live in their sinful ways, but it also warns us who are saved as well.

If you do not warn your brother, sister, friend or neighbour, their blood will be on your shoulders (Ez. 33:4-6). We are called to be our brother’s keeper – to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. If I were unsaved I would want someone to pursue me with all the love and diligence in the world. We better believe that there are others in the world who are all hungering for this same truth. They may believe the solution is in the promotion, the influence, the power or the prosperity. It is our responsibility to show them that all they need can be found in Jesus Christ.

Amen!

True Love Knows No End

If God does not do another miracle in your life would you still love Him?

If He never gave you the one thing you needed the most would you still serve Him?

What would it take for you to fall out of love for God.

Is it the scarcity of His presence?
The empowering feel of His love?
Is it the absence of His voice?
Or to never be able to see His face?

Surely, it must be something serious, so deep and so profound.

What would make me betray you?

LORD search my heart, purge the evil deep down.

Rid me of sin and the hold it has on me; break every stronghold that I may be free indeed.

Let me love you for who You are, for You first loved me unconditionally.

I desire for You to be my only desire, to fall endlessly in love with Thee.

For Your miracles, Your presence and benefits I am forever gracious.

Yet, it is Thy heart and not Thy hand that I love; Your confidence in me makes me greater.

Help me to see myself the way You see me that I may grow in faith.

Help me to love myself the way You love me that I may never waver.

If all the world’s a stage and we’re just a part of Your play;

Let me play the role that Your Son played and love like this was my last day.

I Love You Jesus, my Brother, My King, My Friend.

I Thank You for first loving me with a love that knows no end.

Singing the Devil’s Praises

The language of the devil is lies, thus it follows that glorifying him any greater than speaking his language, is that of singing him praises by our grumbling. Grumbling means to complain about something in an ill-tempered way.

The enemy seeks to destroy our faith by speaking lies directly to us, often in a first-person form of speech. For example, I may be asking the Lord in prayer to heal me of a certain condition. The enemy will try to input thoughts into my mind by saying things such as:

¤ I don’t know why I’m wasting my time, I’m not going to get healed.
¤ Look how much good people died from sicknesses, why would I be any different?
¤ Maybe I should just accept this as my own reality and stop fighting it.
¤ Maybe God really doesn’t exist, and if He does; maybe He just doesn’t care.

This is exactly what happened to me when I was struck with an unknown and incurable condition. This is how the enemy injected doubt into my thought process, which became the very things I meditated upon, and therefore had spoken.

People would ask me, “Haven’t you prayed?” I would grumble by saying “Yeah, I prayed and God didn’t heal me.” Some may not see the sin of grumbling in this statement, but if you ponder it a while longer you will recognize that not only am I speaking doubt into others, but I am also solidifying the doubt I already have about God within myself. Lastly, I am speaking ill against the Lord.

I am basically saying:

– I, Philip McKenley, am a good person.
– I prayed
– God, ‘the bad person’, refuses or withholds His healing.

The Bible speaks of the Israelites grumbling in 1 Corinthians 10:8-11 in the wilderness in which God sent the destroying angel to kill every one of them. The thing with grumbling is that it’s very cancerous and it spreads like wildfire. Once the sin of grumbling is conceived by believing in the devil’s lies, they have basically accepted their defeat and only through sincere repentance may again find favor with God.

Why Does God Allow Evil?

I’ve been asked a number of times in my life questions such as:

If God is so good then why does He ‘send’ people to hell?

Or

Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?

Both questions sound the same but are not, as one deals with eternity whilst the other is referring to those alive on earth today.

These questions can be answered very bluntly, by me saying that 1) God does not send people to hell, they simply choose to go and 2) God does not want bad things to happen to anyone, but sin and the devil most assuredly do.

There are those who make God their enemy in their inability to understand His ways, but the truth is that the real enemy is the one promoting this confusion, catastrophe and delusion.

Satan, is the author of lies and deception, as well as the source from which evil is produced. Our God by a simple word or snap of a finger can remove free-will and create a world of peace as we would have no other choice but to obey Him, yet love is not manipulative or domineering. God who is Love, therefore gives us the freedom to serve and obey Him as well as the freedom to disobey and rebel.

Who can be blamed for the evil in this world? I can only blame myself, for if sin is within me then I must banish it from my thoughts, my lips, my heart, my life. If we all take responsibility for abolishing all sin without compromise, imagine the world we would be living in today.

Unfortunately, as the Bible states, “Many are called but the chosen are few” and few there maybe thay read such a post as this and fewer thus that will take action.

Loneliness Has Friends – cont’d

In going through moments where we struggle with the feeling of loneliness it is noteworthy to be cognizant of the following:

1. There are other brothers and sisters across the world that may be in the same situation as you.

2. Jesus, himself suffered from this feeling of abandonment upon the cross (Matt. 27:46).

3. He sent His Holy Spirit, Our Comforter, so that we would never have to suffer alone and that we would have the power to overcome.

4. Finally, if we allow loneliness to takeover, it may lead to self-pity, bitterness, depression and so forth.

I find it very comforting when being in a situation, that I am able to get advice or comfort from someone who went through the same thing. When Jesus took on the sins of the world, He felt abandoned by God, yet we have to remember one thing – God promised that He will never leave nor forsake us.

So the question is this:

If God promises to NEVER leave nor forsake, why would Jesus ask “…my God, why hast thou forsaken Me?”

I believe the reason Jesus asked this question is based on the truth that He lived an entire life without sin. Once He took on all the sins of the entire world, generations gone and those to come, He felt the most powerful effect of sin; SEPARATION FROM GOD.

Sin separates us from God and not God from us.

Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. Isaiah 59: 1-2

Sin is the severance of an electrical item from its power supply. Remove a bulb from its socket and all you’ll have is glass. Removing ourselves from His presence via sin only open us up to a devil who not only want us to feel lonely, but to be lonely for eternity. For if Hell is one thing assured, it is an eternal separation from God.

Uncertainty

Life. Is it more filled with certainty or uncertainty? Life, is nothing but a seeming never-ending episode of uncertainty, leading to other uncertainties.

We get an education yet we are uncertain of the challenges we will face at school. We get qualified yet, are uncertain if we will even get a job that best suits our area of expertise or our passions. We get a job but even then, there is uncertainty of our level of success, mobility, the obstacles we may face and so much more. We may meet someone we fall in love with yet, we are never certain if they are the one we will marry, and if we do; we are never certain of how things will work out.

Amidst all these forms of bewilderment, the greatest of all that I ask myself is “When will I die? Will it be a peaceful death?” Maybe you don’t ask these questions but I most certainly do.

Life can be very uncertain. In fact, no one can ever be truly certain of exactly how life will turn out. We may have hopes, dreams and ambitions; we may even work as hard as possible to ensure a specific lifestyle, yet amidst it all, uncertainty is still present.

Life is filled with uncertainty, but of these things I am truly certain – God is real and His Love is even more so. This certainty, causes all other uncertainties to become blurred and thus out of my focus. There is a scripture that states, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” It’s a powerful question and statement even. It’s saying that having full knowledge that our God loves and cares for us, it matters not who may stand against us, be it principalities, powers, sickness, disease, death etc.

God is for us!!! This is the most certain statement that we can make. Death is certain, but because I have given my life to God, the uncertainty of time here on earth is not such a problem anymore. The focus now is to love as much, while there is such time to love as such.

A Call to Arms

Many of us have been running from the fight as long as we can remember, in hopes that we would never have to face that battle ever again. Many of us have become cunning, and adapted to methods and schemes of evasive action for the purposes of escaping challenges and battles that must be won and difficulties that must be faced.

It’s ok for you to think that that these measures may work, because the truth is, they have for a while. Haven’t they? There are conversations we need to have, but we compromise internally and say to ourselves, “It’s not my place, it’s none on my business. Let it slide.” There are addictions we need to break, but we say “I’ll be good, things are okay. Life goes on.” There are devils we need to face, but we cloud it in, “Oh God’s not real, if He did then…”

The truth is this, there will come a fight for each and every one of us and it won’t matter your age, gender, status or belief. There is a common enemy of man that has been deriding your efforts at success, eroding your dreams of a good marriage, suffocating your desires to be the person God has called you to be.

There is a FIGHT!!! There is a fight; and it has to be fought or I guarantee you upon the solid basis of scripture that you will not only lose, you not only will die, but you will be destroyed! When the Bible asked us to fight the good fight of faith, God knew the devil was going to attack your belief system in yourself, in your neighbor and in Him.  There is a fight, and that fight must be won, for the eternal destiny of a nation, your loved ones, your family and yourself.

Let he who is running, run no more! Let he who is sleeping, awake! Let he who is fearful, take up their weapon of war! FIGHT!!!! Fight for your life; because, as it says in the statement, your life depends on it!!!!
