Stronger Than Nuclear

Scripture Reading
Isaiah 58:9
Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

Want to see the impossible, the unexplainable, the supernatural?
Then one must be willing to fast. In situations where nations experienced powerful demonstrations of revival and breakthroughs, fasting was a major key.
There are varied kinds of fasting but the one that I am referring to today is the abstaining from food whilst seeking God for a desperate need. There are many life-changing experiences that can be made manifest from fasting, such as:

¤ Unlocking deeper levels of intimacy with God.
¤ Getting healing from life-altering diseases and conditions.
¤ For deliverance and breakthroughs for one’s self or others.
¤ Seeking God for wisdom and direction for important situations.
¤ To see revival and transformation in a nation, community, church, family etc.
¤ Breaking down strongholds of addictions, curses and oppression.
¤ Gaining grace over lusts and pride.
¤ Increasing one’s capacity for the power of God, that is, the anointing.
¤ Getting answers to anything deemed impossible or incurable.

Fasting and Prayer is the strongest of all weapons given to man. There is no other weapon that is as powerful – for he who fasts, moves the Hand and Heart of Almighty God.

Isaiah 58 is a good place for each person to start reading should they have a desire to fast, learn how to fast or to find out the benefits of fasting. One thing I know is this, the body primarily needs food to survive. When you say to God that I am willing to suffer my core need of the flesh for a need in the spirit; He becomes all the more attentive and focused to our every plea.

Cancer Healed!!!

One of the greatest desires of God is to have the Word become flesh in our lives. He wants words on paper to manifest victory into reality by faith. For example, the Lord says, “If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them”Mark 11:23. As a result of reading this passage, I began speaking to my football injuries, headaches, symptoms of sicknesses and negative thoughts. I would say (which also means to declare), “Be healed in Jesus Name” or “Satan, the Blood of Jesus is against you” and I would be totally be healed and delivered.

When this happens, the words in the Bible become engrafted into our life as a living experience or testimony. Revelations 12:11 states, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” The Lord wants us to exercise our faith much as we exercise in the gym – by starting at a manageable weight and then moving up gradually.

The Lord healed me some years ago from an unknown condition which I suffered through for 9 months. I was told there was no cure or treatment for my condition because they didn’t know what it was. Nevertheless, God healed me miraculously after a 3-day fast. He showed me 3 sins that I had committed, even though at this point, I was on fire for God, that caused this to happen to me. After I repented from each sin, I was immediately healed. I then shared the testimony with a lady who had stage 4 leukemia and was on the verge of death. I said to her these exact words, “Hi, you see me standing here, I have just been healed from an unknown condition that I had suffered through for 9 months. You might have prayed and felt like God is not able to answer your prayer. It just means that something is blocking you from receiving your healing. You’re not going anywhere or doing anything, ask Him to show you and when He does repent from it and you will be totally healed.” That’s all I said. When I went back to the hospital two weeks after, I had seen the same nurse and asked her about the status of the patient, and she jumped and exclaimed, “She got healed and gone home!!!” Praise Be to God👐🙌🙏!!!

GOD IS ALIVE TODAY MORE THAN EVER. TRUST IN HIM AND HIS WORD. LET HIS WORD BECOME YOUR REALITY AND NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE WITH YOU!!!

Happy Emancipation Day Jamaica!

My prayer for everyone in this ‘Land We Love,’ is for all of us to be holistically free. We have freedom in one sense, but with regard to our minds, souls and bodies there is another fight to win. It is a fight, and winning is the only acceptable option. Freedom cannot be gained by merely asking or negotiation. For many, freedom had to be purchased in blood and battle.

Our freedom was already paid for, when Jesus Christ, the Lord & Savior of the World came down to earth and fought the most bloody and most important battle for all lifetime. He won the battle for us to have the following:
¤ For our health over sickness and disease
¤ For our peace of mind over stress and chaos
¤ For our self-control over addictions and weaknesses
¤ For our power over principalities and demonic forces.
¤ For our joy over anger and depression.
¤ For our prosperity over poverty and lack.
¤ For our freedom over sin, death and the grave.

This day of National Emancipation can become a day of Personal Eternal Emancipation. A day where YOU say to the devil, “I will serve you no longer,” a day where you say to your flesh, “I shall daily slay thee,” and finally; a day where say to Jesus, “Lord Jesus, I confess of all my sins and ask You to forgive me of all my unrighteousness. I invite You into my heart and my life and be My Lord & Savior forevermore. AMEN!!!”

LET TODAY BE THE DAY WE ALL EXPERIENCE AND CELEBRATE EMANCIPATION IN CHRIST JESUS.

LOVE is not Rude

Perhaps one of the most bewildering things in my opinion, is when someone claims to love you but somehow they always manage to be rude or disrespectful. It always set me aback, as I have to wonder what is the point of a love that produces no kindness or respect.

Let’s be honest here:
¤ Employees are courteous to customers even when they may be in a bad mood.
¤ People are generally respectful to other people who treat them with respect, especially when they are in a good mood.

The question is this: Why should someone accept a love that only gives respect or kindness when the mood or situation is right? If love does not shine in the darkest hour then the hard truth is that it may not be love at all.

Love is not rude. In essence, love is kind, caring and respectful.

Questions?

Have we ever been rude to someone who loves us as a result of our being in a bad mood?
What steps can we take when we are at the lowest moments to ensure that we treat others with care and respect?

One word of advice – Ask God for His grace, because it will give you the power to do even when you were previously not able to. His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in our weaknesses.

Imagine a world where we all love our brothers and sisters worldwide with patience, kindness, humility, selflessness and respect. Imagine us doing so even in our most stressful of situations.

Today, this change begins in Me and it begins in You.

LET’S TRULY LOVE; TRULY!!!

Patient

Of Paul’s first description of the word ‘love’ he ascribes the word ‘patient’ which means able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. Patience assumes that there is a situation under which the need to wait, tolerate or suffer through becomes necessary. Who exercises patience for something they already have? Many a times we are patiently awaiting answers from God. Sometimes we need patience when dealing with people who are trying to humiliate or infuriate us. Patience is a virtue and is also the fourth fruit of the Spirit.

Are you a patient person?
How much do you rate your patience out of 10?

Some of us show great patience in one circumstance but reveal sincere impatience in another. We are able to rely on God’s grace which transforms our weaknesses into strengths. Therefore, even if we are weak in this area, God can perfect us by His grace.

I encourage us all Today, to seek God in prayer for divine patience. Patience proves that we trust in God. It produces integrity and character and strengthens our faith. It is the enemy’s desire for us to grumble and complain about the various situations that we may face. Being silent and still releases God awesome power, anxiety and grumbling defeats us in our final hour.

LOVE IS PATIENT!

This is WAR!!!

This is the word of the Lord for the church – militant, the man of God – utterly surrender; the Daughter of Zion – righteously emboldened. “Harken to the voice of the Lord, ‘Thou art My battle-axe and weapons of war!’ Now, prepare for war and take back this nation, ‘Jamaica, Land We Love’ for the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

  • Prayer
    2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
  • Declaration
    Job 22:28
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
  • Fasting
    Isaiah 58:6
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
  • Praise & Worship
    2 Chronicles 20:21-22
After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:
    “Give thanks to the Lord,
    for his love endures forever.”
As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.
  • Shouting
    Joshua 6:16
The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, “Shout! For the LORD has given you the city!
  • Thankfulness
    1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

    John 14:15
If you love me, keep my commands.
  • Giving
    Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
  • Binding & Loosing
    Matthew 18:18
Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
  • Evangelizing
    Matthew 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
  • Sharing
    Matthew 25:35-36
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
  • Silence/Stillness/Waiting
    Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
    Isaiah 30:15
This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.

Now, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.”

AMEN!!!

The Truth Shall Set You Free!!!

Imagine a world where doctors spare giving you your diagnosis for fear that they may hurt your feelings.

Imagine the judicial system refusing to judge someone of crimes because they were told to ‘judge not.’

Imagine if all teachers gave all students the same compliments and same grades for fear that one may feel offended.

Would the world be a better place?

Jesus said it like this, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”

The doctor, in all loving kindness has a responsibility to tell you the truth of your diagnosis so you may decide which course of action you may need to take.

The same is true of Christians. We don’t want to be the ones to call sin out and bring what’s in the dark to light, but what example would we be if we hid our light under a bowl?

My prayer is that we all realize the disease of sin is more deadly than any disease, more catastrophic than natural disasters, more powerful than even death.

It’s that thing lurking on the inside of each man, woman and child – that no matter one’s creed, deeds or what they have achieved; if sin is in our lives we are in danger of hell fire.

That last statement is your diagnosis if you are a sinner. The course of action you now choose will determine if you die to the disease of sin or live by the cure of Jesus Christ.

Amen!!!

Limitless Life & Love

The God we serve is always growing, from everlasting to everlasting, from faith to faith, from strength to strength and from glory to glory. We are made in His image and the same is innate within us. There is always a hunger for more love, knowledge, power and so on.

God is love and He is able to increase us each day with more love towards Him. He is the source of all love and life so on my journey to limitless love and life who else would I turn to but Him. I believe the following prayer is one of the most powerful prayers one could ever pray and God will always answer it:

Lord Jesus, help me to love You the way You love me.
Help me to love myself the way You love me.
Help me to love each person the way You love me and finally;
Help me to love my enemies the way You love me.

I am a sincere believer that we may always ask the Lord to increase our love, increase our faith, give us grace to conquer our weaknesses, empower us with grace towards obedience and so forth. These prayers are simple, pure and selfless and as such is always guaranteed with an immediate answer from the Most High.

My prayer is that we seek to live a life in Christ filled with His life and love.

AMEN!!!

The World vs. The WORD

The world says in order for us to be wealthy we have to save and invest.

The word says that we will be wealthy by giving bountifully.

The world sometimes tells us that our success is deeply entrenched in our independence from others.

The word teaches us that the greatness is achieved by becoming a servant unto all men.

The world teaches us to secure our own future – protect ourselves at whatever cost.

The word teaches us that best way to protect our life is to lose it by giving it to Jesus who is will do all the work of protection and provision.

The world speaks of pride as if it were a great attribute to attain. One big example is the term ‘gay pride.’

The word refers to pride as the #1 detestable sin before God.

The world speaks to living in the now; enjoying life by any means while we can, wherever we can, however we can, as long as we can.

The word speaks of being sober-minded, living holy and working out our salvation with fear and trembling.

The world uses words such as: impossible, incurable, untreatable.

The word says all things are possible to them that believe.

These are a few examples of how much the world of the devil differs to the word of God.

The choice of where you decide to stand is yours. One promises earthly and eternal victory with unlimited power.

The other does promise much beyond certain defeat with no hope of true joy, peace or real power.

Prayer for Today:
LORD JESUS, help me to choose wisely Today. Give me the grace and the wisdom to follow after You with all my heart. Forgive me Lord, for the times when I sinned by choosing to reject you. I decide Today, to invite You into my heart as my Lord & Savior forevermore. I pray all these things in Jesus’ Name. AMEN!!!

Paid for in Blood

Beaten and battered, panting in pain
The whip which ripped flesh, blood drips;
saturated in shame.
Oozes His blood, no flesh to retain –
Body marred beyond recognition, His condition met by evil untamed.

After the whips, battery, ridicule and torment,
The betrayal, denial, false accusations; the red carpet
Rolled out for Barabas the murderer they all said
That Jesus’ punishment was in no way halted.

His riddled back wriggled with the cross; blood trickled,
Strength departing from knees as he’d buckle they’d giggle.
Yet; he inched closer to our salvation each weakening step, little by little.
The King who became a curse and from defeat, victory He chiseled.

As nails driven among flesh, blood and bones breaking,
His screams bellowed ‘to the heavens; strength exasperating.
Lifted at Gilgal as the jeering never-ceasing,
The Devil prematurely started celebrating.

It was when Jesus looked to heavens with the last thoughts of YOU and me,
He knew these were His lasts breaths that would set His world free.
Yet, for the first time something happened that led him to His last plea;
“Father, Father; why hast thou forsaken me?”

Men’s words and reenactment of this event could never truly be captured.
Words fail, imagination fails, so the attempt of any actor.
The last words of Jesus as He ended that last chapter,
Tells the gravity of sin when a soul is truly captured.

The presence of God leaves, there is no fellowship between holiness and sin,
And living in sin is only a spit in the face of Jesus your King.
It’s the way we crucify Him for another day of doing our own thing,
But just as how God’s presence left Him, the soul that sins also lives without Him.

This is where His investment of holiness, pain and suffering fails,
When we hear of His gospel but in the presence of your sinfulness it pales.
You then turn from Him, the Messiah who weeps and wails,
His last breath was that you would live free with every breath exhaled.

So I beg of thee, Turn my brother, my sister walk not away!
The risk you take was the price that Jesus already paid.
There is a life of freedom and power in Jesus if you receive Him today;
Rejecting could become eternity. Is that a price that you’re willing to pay?
